Insanity

Sometimes called “Dee Extreme” by DeeJay’s devoted workout group, this class includes high intensity interval training with muscle strength by using your own body for resistance training.

Intermediate Salsa Lessons

Intermediate lessons are for students who have mastered the basic Salsa step, left/right turns, cross-body lead and basic patterns. The shines, footwork and patterns taught in this class are more elaborate and flashy and more attention is paid to spinning, styling and technique.

 

Level 1, 2, and 3 Salsa Lessons

Beginner Lessons are for students with little to no experience with Salsa and anyone who hasn’t fully mastered the basic Salsa step, right and left turns, cross-body lead, and basic patterns. This class is offered both Monday and Thursday at 7:00pm

Level two offers more of a challenge to those who have some experience with their basic steps. It includes combination turns and a variety of step patterns.This class is offered both Monday and Thursday at 7:00pm

Level three is for those who are looking for a little more difficult step patterns and longer combination patterns, but still need more practice to master the beginner level. This class is offered on Monday nights.

Intermediate (High Level 3 class) This class is for those who are looking for a fun challenge or some great moves to show off. The step pattern are a bit more fast paced a well as the combination patterns. This class is offered on Thursday night 7:00pm

Classes are Mondays and Thursdays at 7:00pm.

 

ProDance

ProDance is a class that was designed to build the confidence, abilities, & showmanship of dancers and dance enthusiasts looking to sharpen skills, performance abilities, audition for professional dance teams, & simply sweat in an energetic, fun-filled class. These classes include technique, street jazz, & hip hop infused with a little flirty choreography!  All dance and training levels are welcomed.

Salsa Memphis KIDS!

Salsa Memphis KIDS!

Come and learn how to dance salsa and other Latin dances! This class is for all kids boys and girls ages 6-11. Our class teaches all of the dance basics including balance, turning, basic steps and partner work. Plus we incorporate Spanish!

 

Salsa Memphis Performance Team

Performance classes are a very popular, much loved part of Salsa Memphis. They are not only a great way to take your Salsa skills to the next level, but an outstanding opportunity to make great friends, exercise, and experience the thrill of performing!

It is usually a 3-4 month course that focuses on learning, and eventually performing, a choreographed routine as a group.

Performance class is suited for people who have a good grasp of the skills taught in Intermediate Class. If you are unsure of your level, just ask Edgar or Amanda!

Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays at 10:00 am. Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 6:00pm.
